The all-new 21-inch iMac 2014 version is now available in Nigeria

Apple’s entry level 21.5-inch iMac 2014 version is now available in Nigeria, thanks to one of Apple’s authorised resellers, iStore Ikeja. The 21.5-inch iMac comes with a LED-backlit display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB memory, 500GB 5400-rpm SATA hard drive and Intel HD graphics 5000. It also features 2 Thunderbolt ports, 4 USB 3 ports, 1 SDXC Card slot and a headphone/optical digital output.
While the device brings Apple’s iconic design and top-notch bundled accessories and software to a wider audience at a retail price of N220,000 (although offer valid until August 25), it comes up short with some performance and graphics configurations that its 21-inch big brother packs. But if you don’t mind its smaller hard drive and laptop-like CPU and graphics performance compared to the more expensive iMacs and need an Apple desktop that can perform everyday tasks such as surfing the Web, email, social media, and light photo editing, then the 21.5-inch iMac 2014 is worth buying.
